PG&E is cutting electric rates on Jan. 1 by about 5% for residential customers who receive both supply and delivery. Typical residential electric bills will decrease by about $7 per month. Electric rates for income-eligible CARE customers are decreasing by about 6%, lowering the typical CARE bill by about $4 per month. Typical electric customers use about 500 kilowatt hours of electricity per month. The reduction is PG&E’s fourth electric price decrease in two years. Combined with previous price
