Good morning from Alfie, one of the 15 senior African fruit bats retired to us in Nov., 2025, from a zoo in Milwaukee. Alfie was one of two bats that was banded - he had a small yellow band around one ankle that, somewhere in the past, had helped to identify him. They are happily living out the rest of their lives in our enclosures set up specifically for elderly bats.
