Giving a Galápagos tortoise some neck scratches at Three J’s Tortoise Sanctury! In the wild, Galápagos tortoises and finches have a symbiotic relationship, which means, it’s mutually beneficial to both parties. The finches pick off parasites from the tortoises, and in return they get a free meal! Scratching them like this stimulates “finching” and they seem to enjoy it!
