The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Carson City, will be closed December 25, 2025, in observance of Christmas Day, and January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day.

The train museum is home to an extraordinary collection of still-chugging locomotives, railroad equipment, artifacts, documents, and related exhibits from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Free for museum members and children 17 & under. Train rides are not included in museum admission.
