Patchy Mix, one of the most talented bantamweights in the world, has publicly requested his release from the PFL.

At 31, Mix's future has been left uncertain as of late, as it has for dozens of other Bellator fighters struggling to settle into their new home at PFL. Bellator champions like Patricio Pitbull have demanded their release, finally getting it after weeks of asking. Mix continues to do more of the same, heading into February.

Bellator bantamweight champion Patchy Mix wants out of PFL, he announced in a lengthy statement in which he criticized the promotion.

The UFC has yet to hit up one of MMA's hottest free agents. Over the last several months, we've seen multiple Bellator stars in the PFL come and go, like Patricio Pitbull, the promotional great demanding his release and testing free agency.
