The Bills were ranked No. 4 in the NFL in ESPN’s starting lineup rankings, ahead of the Chiefs and behind only the Ravens, Eagles, and Lions.

The Buffalo Bills put up 525 points last season, won the AFC East again, and have the reigning MVP under center. But ESPN lumped their offensive weapons with the league's bottom feeders. Bill Barnwell placed the Bills at No. 28 in his annual NFL skill-position playmakers rankings, just ahead of four last-place teams.

For the Bills, the mark handed over was a B-plus. Overall, ESPN gave only four teams a grade of A. Those were the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. The second-highest grouping was the B-plus Buffalo received.

ESPN gave the Buffalo Bills a B-plus for their 2025 offseason but questioned the team’s wide receiver strategy, especially the signing of Josh Palmer.
