Coco Gauff has won the French Open for the first time by defeating top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4.

After a strong showing in the Section VII championships, Saranac High School continued that success in the state qualifiers. They totaled 20 first-place finishes between their boys and girls teams.
