Washingtonians awoke to a fresh coat of snow Wednesday, creating traffic problems. Seattle schools went to remote learning, with a two-hour delay.

Several locations will likely see record low temperatures by Tuesday morning, and a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect till 10 a.m. Temperatures will moderate and return to near normal by the end of the weekend and early next week with a chance for showers.

Temperatures are forecast to fall into the teens and 20s. With a breezy northeast wind, windchill values will make it feel like 10-20 degrees. Icy and frosty spots will be possible in the morning.

Most school districts in the Puget Sound and Western Washington were open Friday, including Seattle Public Schools, after intermittent closures during the week.
