Columbia University said on Tuesday it was disciplining dozens of pro-Palestinian student protesters who seized part of the school's main library during a demonstration in early May that led to multiple arrests.

Columbia University has disciplined over 70 students for participating in two student-led protests, a source familiar with the matter said.

Columbia University had become a lightning rod for campus trouble in 2024, following Israel’s war in Gaza which began in October 2023.
