Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel couldn't get his team into the playoffs, and he fired two assistant coaches.

After the Miami Dolphins lost to the New York Jets 32-20 on Sunday afternoon and were officially eliminated from playoff contention, owner Stephen Ross issued a statement on the state of the team. In doing so, he confirmed that both head coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier will continue to lead the franchise in 2025.

The finale was marred by a surprising move by star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who opted to leave the game in the fourth quarter and not return to action on the team's final two drives. Hill later hinted that he wanted to leave the Dolphins for good and McDaniel hinted that Hill quit on the team.

During an appearance Thursday on "The Pat McAfee Show," Rosenhaus dismissed Hill's comments as the emotional words of a frustrated competitor. Dolphins general manager Chris Grier

Hill suited up for all 17 games this season and finished with 81 catches on 123 targets, 959 yards and six touchdowns.
