Russia launched a fresh wave of drone and missile strikes on Ukraine in an overnight attack on Monday, killing one person, wounding seven others and causing multiple fires in Kyiv, city officials said.

The attack killed two people and wounded 15, including a 12-year-old, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Russia unleashed one of its largest aerial assaults on Ukraine in recent months, hours before Britain and Germany chaired a meeting Monday to discuss President Trump’s plans for NATO allies to provide Ukraine with weapons.
