Reddit was down — it had a huge global outage that was shortlived. According to Downdetector, more than 100,000 outage reports poured in, and the company acknowledged the issues on its live service status page.

Reddit faced a major global outage on Wednesday, affecting over 138,000 users in the U.S. alone. The platform experienced elevated site errors across both its website and mobile app.

Social media platform Reddit said it was looking into elevated error rates, after Downdetector.com showed more than 100,000 users globally had reported issues with the social media platform.
