Randi Mahomes, the mother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, announced Friday that her father, Randy Martin, has died. An Legacy obituary said Martin, whose full name was Larry Randy Martin, passed away Wednesday at the age of 78 and a funeral is planned for Monday.

Randi’s mother, Debbie Bates Martin, died in April 2023 at age 72. Before the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl, she paid tribute to her late mother on Instagram.
