Bo Nix suffers broken ankle as Broncos edge Bills, head to AFC title game: Live updates and reaction
Denver defeated Buffalo 33-30 in overtime in the AFC playoffs today, but the Broncos have lost quarterback Bo Nix to an ankle injury. Denver head coach Sean Payton said Nix will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a broken bone in his ankle on the second-to-last play of overtime.
There are only seven more games left in the NFL season and four of them are taking place over Saturday, Jan. 17 and Sunday, Jan. 18 when the Divisional Round takes place.
The game will mark a playoff rematch after Buffalo knocked Denver out of the 2024 playoffs with a 31-7 home victory last season. After securing the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed during the regular season, the Broncos get to host this year's showdown.
