Oil futures are mixed with WTI higher as the U.S. returns from the long weekend, and Brent lower. Market focus is on nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran. Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz for a few hours as it held military exercises was seen as saber-rattling as talks resume.

The U.S. and Iran have been flexing their military might as negotiators from the two countries resume nuclear talks in Switzerland.

WTI crude remains firmly on traders’ radar, up 1.40% and strongly holding above $63 at the weekly open. Read more
