Film and television mogul Tyler Perry paid tribute to R&B singer Angie Stone at her funeral on Friday, telling the church congregation at Word of Faith Cathedral in Austell, Ga., that he is “angry” by how she was treated in the music industry.

Tyler Perry said he was “angry” that despite all of Angie Stone's talent and success she was never paid what she was owed and deserved.

Angie Stone tragically and suddenly died in a car accident earlier this month, and the music community has been shaken up ever since. At her funeral, held this week, Tyler Perry made a powerfully emotional speech in her memory.
