It was a violent weekend as Seattle Police investigated a man found dead at Baker Park in the Ballard neighborhood with gunshot wounds.

A man is dead after a shooting in Ballard’s Baker Park early Sunday morning. It is unknown when the shooting actually took place, but police received reports of a man lying unresponsive on a walkway in the 8300 block of 14th Avenue Northwest at approximately 7:30 a.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks hired Klint Kubiak as their offensive coordinator on Sunday. Kubiak’s hiring ends a nearly three-week search for Seattle, which fired coordinator Ryan Grubb on Jan. 6 after the Seahawks finished 28th in the league in rushing under Grubb’s pass-happy attack.

Kubiak could bring a philosophical shift and staff changes as the Seahawks' offense tries to highlight it's top players more.
