Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone call on Thursday with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which he strongly condemned Israel’s repeated attacks on Syrian territory and its interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

Israel launched major airstrikes on Damascus on July 16, hitting Syria’s defense ministry and targeting areas near the presidential palace. The strikes came in response to Syrian attacks on Druze communities in southern Syria.
