Mumbai Indians openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton have started strongly in their Indian Premier League match against Rajasthan Royals. The pair have reached 99-0 at the halfway stage of innings, with India captain Rohit on 42 from 27 balls and South African Rickelton striking 55 from 33.

Mumbai Indians crushed Rajasthan Royals by 100 runs to end the home team's playoffs hopes in the IPL in Jaipur on Thursday. Batting first, MI scored 217/2. In reply, RR were all out for 117 in 16.1 overs as MI closed in on securing a playoffs berth.
