Jon Bernthal is stepping back in the role of Frank Castle, not only for Daredevil: Born Again , but a Marvel Special Presentation . Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Bernthal is also co-writing the project alongside director Reinaldo Marcus Green ( We Own This City ).

Marvel Television has confirmed a Punisher special is in the works, with Bernthal not only starring, but also co-writing the special alongside Reinaldo Marcus Green. Green is also set to direct. The special presentation will air in 2026, alongside season 2 of “Daredevil: Born Again.”
