The Hall of Fame quarterback’s longtime business partner Jeff Sperbeck died in April after falling from a golf cart.

Football legend John Elway will not be facing any charges in the death of his business partner Jeffrey Sperbeck, authorities announced on Monday. Sperbeck died after falling from a golf cart at a resort in La Quinta in April.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco confirmed that nothing criminal was found in an investigation into the incident that led to the death of Jeff Sperbeck.
