Storm Goretti has caused flooding, power cuts, water outages and travel disruption across parts of Sussex and Kent. Flooding was reported on a coastal road at Cooden Beach in Bexhill, East Sussex, while flood warnings were in place for low-lying coastal areas including Climping, in West Sussex, and Pevensey.

In the week which saw Storm Goretti hit large parts of the UK, a new study shows that, in terms of worries over the possibility of getting flooded, Harrogate rank, perhaps, surprisingly highly. The study examined Google searches for flood-related terms to determine which areas are the most concerned about flooding.
Specific flood warnings, however, are not currently issued for Northern Ireland.
