Fans are eager to see how that acclaimed movie does at the Oscars, and if it joins the ranks of musicals that have won Best Picture. But the sequel For Good is arriving this November, and actor Jonathan Bailey recently teased the "tonal shift" of the second movie.

Jonathan Bailey is teasing a “heavier and more complicated” world in Wicked: For Good. Bailey played Fiyero Tigelaar in Jon M. Chu’s Wicked, which was released in United States theaters in November 2024.

“ Wicked Part 2,” now titled “Wicked: For Good,” will hit theaters on November 21, 2025 — and the cast is just as excited as audiences. When IndieWire recently caught up with Jonathan Bailey to discuss his role as the charming Prince Fiyero in the musical adaptation, he teased the changes to come with Part 2.
