The Taurid Meteor Shower is producing spectacular fireballs that can be seen in the Ozarks through mid-November, with the best viewing after midnight away from city lights.
A fireball lit up the sky over eastern Lake Superior late Monday evening, Nov. 3, according to the Michigan Storm Chasers, a group that tracks statewide weather and offers daily forecasts. The meteor, which blazed through the sky at about 10 p.m., was caught on video and shared via social media.
