A cruise ship that departed Nov. 15 from Galveston hit a snag Wednesday in Cozumel, Mexico. While docked in the beachy Caribbean port, one of the lifeboats of the Carnival Dream plopped right into the water and floated off.

The new premium Edge Series ship, which was designed with input from vacationers across the globe, introduces seven new experiences on board, including the Bazaar, a unique concept that offers passengers a way to continue to explore their destinations while on board the ship.
