The Bengals have all of their rookies in the fold ahead of training camp this week, except for Shemar Stewart after Demetrius Knight Jr signed his rookie contract with major guaranteed money into Year 4 this morning.
Every year, NFL training camps begin in mid-July, though the exact dates are up to the discretion of each of the 32 clubs. For the Bengals, rookies report July 19, while veterans report to training camp July 22. Training camp begins the next day, July 23.
The most hyped undrafted free agent for the Bengals this year, Seth McLaughlin is one to watch because of his injury status. Said injury prevented him from getting drafted and if he’s healthy enough, perhaps he can make a push for a backup gig on the 53.
CINCINNATI — The Bengals provided updates on second-year tight end Erick All and rookie center Seth McLaughlin on Saturday. The two are being placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list to start training camp as both recover from major injuries.
Defensive end Shemar Stewart remains unsigned as of Saturday, the day that the Cincinnati Bengals' rookies must report for training camp, and therefore has not shown up with the rest of his first-year teammates.
