MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday openly questioned the point of peace talks with Ukraine after accusing Kyiv's senior leadership of ordering deadly terrorist attacks on bridges in Russia that killed seven and injured 115 more.

Russian President Vladimir accused Ukraine of seeking a truce only to replenish its stockpiles of Western arms, recruit more soldiers and prepare new attacks.

During the conversation, Putin told Trump that Russia will have to respond to the Ukrainian drone attacks, the U.S. president said. "It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace," he said in a Truth Social Post.
