Sen. Josh Hawley introduced a bill to repeal some of the Medicaid cuts in Trump’s sweeping tax law, after Hawley voted to pass it earlier this month.

As deep as the House’s Medicaid cuts are for New York, the Senate’s reductions are deeper. Public health officials and hospital groups have been sounding increasingly dire alarms about the domestic policy bill Senate Republicans are advancing this week to enact much of President Trump’s domestic policy agenda.
