Two former Ocean City Police officers​ died in the line of duty during two separate shooting incidents over the weekend, department officials said.

A police officer was killed Saturday after responding to a shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital just outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where the suspected gunman also was killed, according to state police.

Officer Christopher Reese, 30, had worked for the Virginia Beach Police Department for about three years. Reese and Officer, Cameron Girvin, 25, were killed Friday night during a confrontation after a traffic stop, authorities said.
