The city of Minneapolis has agreed to pay $600,000 to settle a lawsuit by a woman who alleged that ex-Officer Derek Chauvin hauled her from her minivan and pinned her to the ground with his knee in January 2020,

George Floyd was not Derek Shauvin’s only victim, shown by settlment with a former city worker who accused the former officer of excessive force.

The agreement marks more than $36 million in settlements that Minneapolis has paid out due to lawsuits brought over the conduct of the ex-police officer.

The $600,000 settlement is the latest in a series of lawsuits alleging excessive force by Mr. Chauvin, the former police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd.
