During a recent episode of The View, Goldberg and her co-hosts opined on the former first lady's decision, which she first shared on an episode of her "IMO" podcast, which she co-hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson.

The former first lady said she ultimately “tricked” herself out of attending the event by not preparing anything to wear.
