New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani has reportedly said he will defy ICE and won’t allow the agency to arrest those living illegally in the U.S. who commit crimes in his city.

U.S. President Donald Trump said that if New York City Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani interferes with ICE, then "we'll have to arrest him."

Trump has renewed his attacks on Zohran Mamdani, calling the New York City mayoral candidate a “Communist Lunatic” and vowing to protect the city from him.
