US solar manufacturers said they have filed new trade petitions against India, Indonesia and Laos alleging illegal practices by largely Chinese-owned companies operating in those countries.

In trade petitions filed today, a U.S. domestic manufacturing alliance is taking aim at largely Chinese-produced imports of solar cells and modules from Indonesia, Indian and Laos, potentially leading to a new round of antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) investigations.

Indonesia also has agreed to purchase billions in U.S. energy, agriculture products and airplanes, Trump said July 15 in a social media post.
