James Hagens was happy to meet the man that drafted him. The Boston Bruins prospect met Adam Sandler at the “Happy Gilmore 2” premiere in New York City on Monday. The Bruins posted a video of Hagens and the actor greeting each other on the red carpet. The two also posed for a picture together.

Something fun going on in the lead up to that though is the great work that TruGreen and First Tee have going on in anticipation of the movie. TruGreen and First Tee linked up (no pun intended) with Ball State golfer Landon “Happy” Gilmore. Obviously Landon has gone by that nickname for just about his whole life.
