Food and product delivery service DoorDash has temporarily suspended their services in areas affected by winter storms, including Memphis and surrounding areas.

Fort Worth says the city and non-profits have strong relationships, but people should start planning now for winter weather. They urge homeowners to check pipes to make sure they’re insulated, disconnect hoses and cover the spigot.

The Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department is already in prep and pretreatment mode. Huge amounts of sand are getting loaded up and ready.
