La Salle has hired former Radford coach Darris Nichols as the school’s 21 st head men's basketball coach. A press conference to introduce Nichols will be held on Monday, March 24, at 10 a.m., at John E.

Darris Nichols, who went 68-63 in four seasons at Redford, will succeed Fran Dunphy as La Salle men's basketball head coach.

Nichols, 38, will succeed Fran Dunphy, retiring from coaching at the end of the basketball season. Nichols went 68-63 and won 20 games twice in his four seasons at Radford.
