The Austrian Grand Prix is set to stay on the Formula 1 schedule until 2041 after a long-term extension for the race at the Red Bull Ring.

The Austrian Grand Prix will remain on the Formula One calendar through to 2041 following a long-term extension to its contract, F1 said in a statement ahead of this year's race on Sunday. Austria re-joined the schedule in 2014, with the event run by Red Bull, and its existing contract was set to run through 2030. But ahead of Sunday’s race a new deal was announced, securing the future of the Grand Prix until 2041, giving Austria the equal-longest contract in the championship, along with Miami.
