Andrew Benintendi was placed on the 10-day injured list by the White Sox before their game against the Cleveland Guardians because of a left adductor strain, a blow in what has been another rough start to Chicago’s season.

"Just continue to just give it a little rest and do some exercise to strengthen the stuff around it," Benintendi said Wednesday. "Feels better today than it did yesterday. It’s just one of those things I think it's going to take a few days,
