N.Y. State Police had issued an Amber Alert​ for Melina Frattolin after she was reported missing in Lake George. Her body was found Sunday in Ticonderoga.

A 9-year-old girl was abducted by an unknown suspect at New York’s Lake George, according to an Amber Alert received by some Massachusetts residents. New York State Police said in the alert that the girl, Melina Galanis Frattolin, was last seen at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday in a white van on Interstate 87 near exit 22.

Melina Frattolin was reported kidnapped by her father this weekend near Lake George, New York, during a vacation. Her body was found shortly after.
