A man in Massachusetts claimed two prizes collectively worth $2 million after his two tickets won money in the same Powerball drawing earlier this month.

Paul Corcoran of Fitchburg, Massachusetts took home $2 million after accidentally purchasing an extra Powerball ticket last week.

On May 31, 2025, one Powerball player won the $205 million jackpot. But, this one has climbed to a larger amount. On Wednesday night, one person was very close to winning the jackpot, and the one-time cash payment amount was still big at $120.8 million.
