"What a spot! Green space, incredible views across the Sound and poignant memorials to those lost at sea during first and second world wars. It has a historic feel and acts as a reminder to the futility of war."

"Lovely hotel I stayed in three different Premier Inns this week, and Plymouth’s was the best! Lovely staff and clean rooms. My twin room felt huge!"

"Despite all signage saying food and drink all day at 4.15 we were told that they had stopped serving. We passed it on way into Barbican and planned to return in advertised time frame. Totally rubbish"

"The hotel staff ruined our stay. A staff member aggressively demanded entry into our room at 2am. This was a family room and he would not leave after we stated this and that we have young children in the room, who were terrified at the loud banging and shouting. I was about to call the police when he said he worked at the hotel, despite not being in uniform. After calling down to reception, they said they had seen some people going into each others rooms at 2am. Clearly this wasn’t us as we were fast asleep and he was banging on the wrong door. There was no apology from him and there has been no ‘adequate’ compensation for all of this. This was the first time staying in a premier inn and I cannot understand how you can treat customers like this. I expect an apology and for this to be escalated appropriately and resolved to my satisfaction. The feedback card I was given simply offers details of the ‘good night sleep guarantee’, this is 100% to do with staff behaviour and attitude and could have been avoided. You can’t just offer a traumatised tired family 60% off their total stay refunded, it’s disgusting customer service!"
